Definite purpose (DP) contactors are electrically activated switches designed for application-specific use to provide load control that can handle lower locked rotor switching needs.
WDP series definite purpose contactors provide compact load control in applications such as HVAC, compressors, pumps, resistive heating, power supplies, refrigeration equipment, food service equipment, motors, compressors and welding.
These reliable control components are available in 1- or 3-phase configurations at coil voltages from 24 to 480VAC. Contactor current capacities are up to 60A with 1-, 2-, and 3-pole configurations at 25A, 30A, and 40A; and 3-pole configurations at 50A and 60A.
Enclosed coil is standard for all 3-pole frame sizes and open coil is standard for all 1- and 2-pole frame sizes. An industry standard mounting plate provides easily accessible mounting holes and terminal box lug connections each have quick connect/disconnect terminals.
Auxiliary contact blocks mount on WDP series contactors to serve as secondary switches that activate at the same time as the contactor. Contact blocks are available in various N.O./N.C. configurations in a side mount style. Output options include dry aux contact or a SPDT microswitch.
