Its history is closely tied to the leadership of Executive Chairman Narendra Joharimal Goliya, an electrical engineer from IIT Mumbai who earned a Master of Science in Microelectronics from Stanford University. After joining his family’s electrical measuring instruments business in 1975, he established Rishabh Instruments Pvt. Ltd. in Nashik, India, in 1983.
Goliya led the development of a broad portfolio of products and companies spanning electrical industrial control, energy management, and test and measuring instruments. Sifam Tinsley, which is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is the North American operations division of the Rishabh Group and employs 12 people.
