IP69K is essential for sanitation compliance and protects against dust and intense, close-range liquid jets, including those used for high-pressure steam cleaning. The 58V models have additional resistance to acidic and alkaline cleaning agents, including salt mist.
Wachendorff encoders offer fixed resolutions from 60 up to 5000 PPR with universal, open collector, or line driver outputs for flexible connectivity. These heavy-duty models withstand shaft loading to 300 N (36J models) or 100 N (58V models) for reliability and longevity in demanding industrial environments. Their extreme service life (30 billion revs (36J) and 10 billion revs (58V)) allows for reduced maintenance, enhanced uptime, and long-term cost efficiency.
Combine a 58V or 36J heavy-duty encoder with a measuring wheel and a spring-loaded swing arm to easily create a measuring wheel system. MR series wheels are now available in 200mm and 500mm circumferences with a variety of contact surfaces. WDGM spring-loaded mounts are available with clockwise or counter-clockwise swing arms, as well as a straight-sliding version to fit any measuring wheel application.
